How to defeat Infernal Dinosaur, King Dodongo in two attacks and sequences
Posted by: Warrior of Fire - 04-16-2012 02:11 PM - Replies (4)

In Ocarina of Time, after "clearing" the Dodongo's Cavern for the Gorons, you find yourself at the end of the road with no way back to fresh air. Then comes a huge, armor-scaled, fire-breathing dinosaur that wants to roast you alive and eat you as a little snack (seeing as you're just a ten-year-old kid with a short sword and a shield that's too big for you). When the big dino goes to inhale enough air to create a huge fireball to do the aforementioned roasting, you just chuck a bomb as far down his throat as your arms allow you. At the resulting boom, you quickly whip out a wooden stick that for some reason is twice as powerful as your metal sword and perform a jump attack, which is twice as powerful as a standard slash with said stick. He then rolls into a giant ball and rolls toward you. At this point, you're stuck between a rock and a hot place. Do you run as fast as your little legs can carry you away from this giant rolling ball of death, or do you run towards the lava pool? Fortunately for you, your too-heavy shield completely protects you from the massive size of this beast. Turtle-under, and wait until he comes at you again. Repeat the bomb thing when he inhales, and this time, get as close as you feel comfortable, change out to a smaller wooden shield that your fairy can carry for you when you have your other shield equipped, crouch behind it, and draw your sword to stab the dinosaur at the same power as, for some completely unknown reason, the jump attack with the stick. He will then roll up again, but this time, instead of rolling over you, he rolls into the lava pool, causing his utter death and the lava pool to harden. A blue light and a spinning heart appear on top of the hardened lava pool. Collect the heart to increase your life energy and step into the light...

(Please note that aside from the strategy and the game mechanics, some of this stuff is purely conjecture, such as King Dodongo wanting to eat Link after roasting him alive, Link's age, and Navi being able to carry all of Link's items that he's not using or the sword, shield, tunic, and boots he's currently got equipped. That was all just for fun, as well as the "rock and a hot place" joke.)

Legend Of Zelda NES - Boss Tips
Posted by: Bey-Heart - 04-05-2012 04:14 AM - Replies (4)

I've begun to realize that some people have trouble with bosses in Zelda games. During my play through of the original Zelda, there were some parts where I had trouble. Although I usually got past the bosses with ease, some people don't. So now I'd like to post some tips. Using these and the maps I posted, you should get through the games with a little more ease.

Level 1 - Aquamentus

Aquamentus is the first boss you'll face in the game. This fight is kind of a pushover, so you'll do fine. Aquamentus is a dragon that shoots out 3 fire balls at a time. To begin, be sure you have full health. All you have to do is stand near the wall, and shoot your sword beams at the head of Aquamentus. If you by and chance get hit during this fight, then just stand next to the head and keep slashing. A couple hits on Aquamentus' head will do the job a little too well.

Level 2 - Dodongo

When going in to face the Dodongo, have your bombs prepared, as you will need them. I hope you didn't waste them.

Dodongo is also a pushover, all he will do is walk around the room in different directions. Now, place a bomb in his path, and he will swallow it. If you successfully do this twice, you will have successfully defeated Dodongo.

Level 3 - Manhandla

Manhandla is an odd tentacle creature that moves around the room in a randomized pattern. You have to somehow place a bomb down so that it goes off right as Manhandla hovers over it. If your lucky, 1 bomb could blow off all it's limbs. Of course, it's more likely that you'll have to use more than one bomb. Also, you could use the more difficult method, and use your sword.

Level 4 - Gleeok

Gleeok is a double-headed dragon that will spit fireballs at you in consecutive intervals. You need to dodge the fireballs and slash at one of the two heads from the side. Run away, from the fireballs it shoots, then run back and slash at the head a couple more times. The head you've been slicing will eventually detach and start flailing all around the room. Now, you need to go and slash at the head that's still attached to Gleeok's body. But, now you have to dodge a head and two fireballs. All in all, this fight might take you a couple tries.

Level 5 - Digdogger

Digdogger is a round yellow thing with an eyeball in the center. The eyeball is Digdoggers weak point, so that's where you want to hit. Your only problem: You can't hit the eyeball because of an invincible layer of flesh surrounding it. Get your recorder ready. When you play your recorder, the layer of invincible flesh will disappear, and Digdogger will fly around the room very rapidly. If you use the boomerang on it, it will be stunned in place. Now is your chance to quickly slash him with your sword as many times as you can. If you have a potion with you, you should do just fine. Good luck!

Level 6 - Gohma

Gohma is extremely easy to beat. If you stand in the doorway, you can avoid all of Gohma's attacks. When Gohma's eye opens up, shoot an arrow into the eye. You'll beat this boss pretty quickly.

Level 7 - Aquamentus

Aquamentus returns to fight you again. Do the same thing you did in the first fight, and you'll beat him quickly and easily.

Level 8 - Gleeok

Gleeok has returned to fight you again, except this time he has 4 heads. Do what you did the first time you fought Gleeok, and you'll do fine. Have a potion ready if you need it.

Legend Of Zelda NES - First Quest Maps
Posted by: Bey-Heart - 04-04-2012 06:25 AM - Replies (2)

a lot of people seem to have trouble on the original Legend Of Zelda for NES. Most people seem to die a lot while their exploring, and looking for dungeons. Thus, I've decided to post some maps here giving you guys some easy access, without lots of Google searching. I did not go through the work of making these maps, I only collected them all here.

These maps are for the first quest only. I'll probably post the maps for the second quest in a different thread eventually.

This will probably help you a lot for the Death Mountain dungeon. That place was like a maze for me. Also, it will help for places you get stuck in.

Warning: Images may be large, and some exploration spoilers will be seen.

  Sky Temple Found Sittin There
Posted by: Ganondorf - 03-24-2012 10:01 AM - Replies (6)

As most of y'all might've known or not known, There was a Sky Temple in OoT, But it was a Rough Draft. There wasn't enough to add another temple and decided to stick with 6 temples. Would you guys want to see what the Sky Temple would look like? I would. But it's my opinion about why they removed Sky Temple from the game cause of not enough to put in the Cartridge. You can watch the video about the Sky Temple. It's weird how they let the Sky Temple sit there. (Only the entrance)

It is very interesting about Sky Temple.

I have a complete video walkthrough for Ocarina of Time and Ocarina of Time Master Qu
Posted by: - 03-24-2012 06:32 AM - No Replies

This is a video I recently uploaded showing how to beat Ocarina of Time from beginning to end in one complete video. It includes the dungeons and how to get to the next dungeon etc. It does not show stuff like Piece of Hearts and Golden Skutllulas. I have videos for all of the extras as well but they are not in one huge video like the one above. This is my playlist for Ocarina of Time Only

This is the playlist for Ocarina of Time Master Quest Only

And finally this is a playlist I am working on Ocarina of Time Only in full HD.
